I receive Bowen Therapy from Julia every 4-6 weeks. I find Julia's approach to be a very welcoming and natural one. During the initial comprehensive assessment, Julia identified points of tension and imbalance in my body. The treatment was tailored to suit my individual needs. I felt beneficial effects from the first session.
Bowen suits me because it is relaxing and profoundly relieving of tension and aches at the same time. We work together to address occasional aches (stiffness after a long plane trip for example), and also long-term issues, such as correcting imbalance in my body, and the on-going stiffness that comes from sitting in an office all day. I find that my body feels more comfortable and free of aches after each session and I'm good to go for another few weeks. Julia has also taught me tension-relieving stretches to practice daily to avoid the discomforts of stiffness.
